Torgoch
Ym mis Rhagfyr 2012, fel rhan o'r ymdrech ehangach i atal y gostyngiad yn nifer y torgochiaid yn Llyn Padarn, dechreuodd Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru raglen i gasglu wyau torgochiaid a hadd (milt). Cafodd y pysgod eu dal yn eu mannau silio yn Afon y Bala, ym mhen uchaf y llyn, gan ddefnyddio rhwydi ffyc
Ar ôl cael eu deor mewn tanciau gyda thymheredd dŵr wedi'i reoli'n llym am tua thri mis ac yna eu magu yn neorfa'r Mawddach ger Dolgellau; cafodd tua 5700 o bysgod ifanc eu cludo yn ôl i Lyn Padarn ym mis Hydref 2013 i gael eu rhyddhau.
Mae'r gwaith hwn wedi parhau ar sail flynyddol ac mae monitro sonar a wnaed gan CNC yn dangos bod nifer y torgochiaid yn Llyn Padarn yn cynyddu.
